15% of our current children were once forced to drop out. Today, they're thriving in classrooms.
For many families in marginalized Dalit and Janajati communities, the burden of paying school fees, purchasing educational materials, and forgoing a child's potential income from labor becomes an insurmountable obstacle.
This vicious cycle of deprivation often compels children to abandon their dreams of education and enter the workforce at a tender age, perpetuating the generational trap of illiteracy and economic hardship.
Our objective is to give these children the opportunity to attend school — and to stay there.
Educate a Child Today →We cover annual school registration fees, uniforms, and essential materials so no family has to choose between education and survival.
6 tuition centers with 202 students currently enrolled. Trained local teachers provide after-school support in child-friendly learning spaces.
Regular training sessions for all six tuition teachers encourage, motivate, and update their knowledge of child-friendly teaching techniques.
Mothers, teachers, and volunteers work together to ensure every child is enrolled, supported, and mentored through parent-led follow-up programs.
All students attending tuition classes have shown significant improvement, securing good results in exams conducted by their respective schools.
HoN organized a two-day training on Child-Friendly Schools for headmasters, teachers, and staff — ensuring schools are welcoming spaces for all.
"When children stay in school, they shift the story of what's possible — not just for themselves, but for their entire families."
Every day we see this transformation. A child who once helped in fields returns to a classroom. A mother who feared her daughter's future now watches her graduate. These are the stories that drive us forward.
For 1,000 Rupees you can allow 3 Nepali students to attend school for a month. This can help change their entire future.
