20 Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) — 5 in Ward No. 7 and 15 in Ward No. 12 — hold regular monthly meetings focused on saving, loan transactions, and record-keeping.
Loans are issued based on individual business plans for new enterprises and urgent medical needs, empowering women to chart their own financial futures.
The "Pipaltar Mother's Group" in Ward No. 12 achieved the highest saving amount, accumulating up to NPR 39,960 through disciplined collective saving.
WSHG members trained in kitchen gardening have successfully harvested cash crops — used for home consumption and sold in schools and local markets.
A "Battar Mother's Group" member earned NPR 35,000 selling seasonal vegetables. A "Paurakhi Mother's Group" member earned NPR 8,400 selling eggs and roosters.
The HoN team holds regular meetings with parents to review teaching quality and school performance. Parents are committed to follow-ups and improving education quality.
Dhotar Basic School has established two child-friendly classrooms. Panchakanya Basic School has converted all classrooms to child-friendly spaces. Indrawati Basic School has improved its office and classroom setups.
HoN organizes regular meetings with School Management Committee Chairpersons, Headmasters, school teams, and tuition teachers to share best practices, plan for student enrolment, and address issues.
HoN provides support and prizes for extracurricular activities — essay writing, dance competitions, and quiz contests — motivating children to participate and excel beyond academics.
